Dvorak Symphony Orchestra performes Dvorak's masterpeaces

DSO was established in 2001 under the patronage of Mr. Antonin Dvorak III., the grandson of the famous composer and the chairman of The International Dvorak Society, whose name the orchestra is holding, under the patronage of the Lord Mayor of Prague Ing. Jan Kasl.

The orchestra uses the long experience of traditions in Czech music. Orchestra members are chosen of the best instrumental players appearing with the top Czech orchestras but also soloists appearing on stages all over the world. Thanks to this fact, the orchestra is offering music interpretation on the highest artistic level and is highly appreciated in Czech Republic and worldwide. The repertoir of DSO is based on the symphonic works of A. Dvorak, but also other works of world and domestic composers of all periods. The orchestra cooperates with significant Czech and world conductors and soloists. After two very successful concert seasons, during which the orchestra performed over 80 concerts, the world art agencies started offering their cooperation. The orchestra was on the Japan Tour in June - 2003 with Fujiko Hemming - piano solo. The great appreciation for the orchestra was very warm response of the audience, sold out prestigeous concert halls as for example NHK Hall in Tokyo (about 4000 audience) and the great rewiews in the press. DSO also supports important benefit projects, as for instance concert "Praha pro New York" in cooperation with The City of Prague in September 2001. The economic part of the orchestra contains of young flexible specialized management, which is independent on the state financial support. This fact is very big advantage in front to the state orchestras. Thanks to this the orchestra of such quallity offers very interresting prices of it's products and services.

Dvorak Symphony Orchestra offers cooperation on music festivals, concerts, concert tours, recordings of symphonic and film music accompaniment for soloists and other individual projects.
